The Rural Municipality of Tyne Valley is excited to announce a new initiative for the development of a Community Learning and Multi-Purpose Centre. We're looking for qualified firms to help bring this vital community project to life!
This innovative facility will offer expanded library services, versatile community gathering spaces, and rental options for local organizations. Our goal is to provide a hub that fosters community engagement, supports local services, and attracts new opportunities to Tyne Valley.
Here’s what we envision:
Expanded Library Services: A larger, more accessible space to better serve our growing community.
Flexible Gathering Spaces: Meeting rooms, recreational activity areas, and open spaces that can be adapted for various events and programs.
Leased Space for Community Organizations: Room for local organizations to offer services, supporting the growth of community amenities.
We are now accepting proposals from engineering or consulting firms to create a concept design and business plan for the Centre. The deadline to indicate interest is October 7, 2024, with final proposals due by October 11, 2024.
